The rug definitions and styles as described in our rug guide are intended to help you navigate our site and locate the rug of your choice. There is no absolute right or wrong way of describing general groups and/or styles. Many rugs fall into several categories and different rug producers give different names to what are essentially the same designs. We hope you find our guide both informative and easy to use.
